Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor

Title: EA to Lead Pastor

Reports to: Executive Pastor
Hours Per Week: Average of 15 hours a week
Compensation: $17-$22 hourly depending on experience 

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Sorting and organizing email multiple times per day, alerting Lead Pastor of any urgent communications

  • Set up meetings and communicate as needed with staff

  • Help with general development and implementation of systems & software

  • Facilitate accurate tracking of weekly metrics

  • Scheduling travel arrangements and creating itineraries

  • Execute monthly expense reimbursements

  • Complete personal errands such as mailing, setting doctor’s appointments, etc.

  • Written cards: sign birthday cards for pastor weekly, send first time giver thank you cards weekly

  • Purchase cake and gift for staff birthdays each month

  • Field church voicemail by responding to caller or forwarding to proper team member

  • Event management for staff retreats, all staff meetings, Christmas parties, and all staff lunches

  • BLN tasks: checking PO box, event management, web design and maintenance, marketing & communication of events, Secretary of State renewals

  • Willingness to work in cooperation with Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Pastor, Director of Operations, and others inside and outside the church

  • Strong leadership ability with organizational and administrative skills as well as careful attention to detail

  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, word processing programs, and databases such as Fellowship One

  • Ability to multitask and communicate in the midst of ambiguity

  • Tithing


  • A personal commitment to follow Jesus.

  • Demonstrate commitment to see Restoration function within the scope of best practices in ministry principles.

  • Agreement with the mission of Restoration

  • Strong leadership that will attract and mobilize others

  • Highly relational and able to draw all types of people in

  • Willingness to work in teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
