Restoration Kidz Director

Title: Restoration Kidz Director

Reports to: Executive Pastor

Primary Objective: Provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of Restoration Kidz while developing staff and volunteers and loving the kids of Restoration into a lifestyle of passionately following Jesus.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Build an inclusive ministry for our families (parents and children), which encourages a lifestyle of passionately following Jesus

  • Recruit, train, and equip Restoration Kidz and Volunteers who will prepare parents and children of RCC to grow together as followers and disciples of Jesus

  • Create and implement systems which provide optimum function of the weekly Restoration Kidz programs and events

  • Plan and implement 2 Phase events per year

  • Select and oversee implementation of Orange curriculum for all ages of children, ages birth through 6th grade, including printed materials and supplies

  • Chief vision caster for Restoration Kidz, volunteers and families

  • Pursue knowledge of best practices and industry trends

  • Assure strong operational and fiscal management by maintaining the budget

  • Work with Restoration Kidz Resident and volunteers to continue to develop fun, thought provoking curriculum, sharing observations, ideas, issues and concerns

  • Organize, delegate and/or oversee Special Events and Restoration Kidz related groups (Ground Floor, Phase events, parenting resource events, Trunk or Treat)

  • Implement necessary technology to maintain quality and relevant worship and learning environments and check-in system

  • Volunteer recruitment and management including training and appreciation events

  • Maintain clear and regular communications with Restoration Community Church families including updates, upcoming events and opportunities and policies

  • Creates and communicates (in compliance with State and Federal laws and insurance) safe child practices, and including wellness policy, teaching standards of conduct and behavioral expectations for volunteers, staff, regularly attending parents and children in our care

  • Create with the Community Impact Team several outreach opportunities throughout the year

  • Champion Fellowship One database and check-in systems

  • Meet weekly with Executive Pastor

  • Attend All Staff meetings

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Knowledge of Orange

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to recruit and train a volunteer team

  • Strong relational skills with proven success in mobilizing volunteers

  • Proactive, self-starter, accurate, organized, creative, efficient, with ability to lead up

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), web & database management systems

  • Project management ability

  • Commitment to being a Partner and agreement with the mission/vision of Restoration
