One church. Two locations

For those who may still wonder about the why behind our choice to have two locations, I’d like to give you a few answers. 1. God treasures people who do not love him or seek him. “There is no one who seeks God, no not even one” (Romans 3:11). And yet, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost” (Luke 19:10). He wants to use us to seek those who are not seeking him.

2. Every number has a name and every name has a story and every story has a soul. The reason we want to reach more people is because people matter to God (Luke 15). God is not impressed with numbers for numbers sake, but he cares about the stories and souls attached to each number.

3. Restored people restore people. When we minister to others we grow. As God is restoring our relationship with him we can’t help but to want to restore others. And as we restore others our own restoration grows deeper. Our faith grows, our love grows, and our experience grows. “I pray that you would be effective in sharing your faith so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing you have in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:6).

4. For those saying, “Yeah, but we still have seats at our Denver location.” Most people want to go to church between 10:00 and 11:00 am in North America. Those are always the prime seats and those seats are usually very full. We double those seats at that hour by having two locations. We also make it easier for those down south to invite their friends who would never drive to our Denver location.

God loves his church, and because of you God’s church is expanding. Come along on this journey. It is exciting!
